In compliance with article 10 of Spanish Law 34/2002 on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce (LSSI-CE), the following details are provided:

Owner

Purpose

FotoCarnet provides an image-processing service that adapts a photograph submitted by the user to the format required for identity documents in Spain (26 × 32 mm, white background, 600 dpi), and delivers the resulting files in digital form.

Independence

This site is a private, independent service. It is not associated with, sponsored by or endorsed by the Spanish National Police, the Ministry of the Interior, the Dirección General de la Policía or any other Spanish public body. References to legislation are included for information only.

Liability

The service adapts the photograph to the technical parameters described, but final acceptance of the document rests with the official or body it is presented to. Acceptance is not guaranteed for photographs whose defect originates in the source image (gaze off to the side, closed eyes, turned head, accessories covering the face), nor for prints made without respecting 100 % scale.

Intellectual property

The texts, design and code of this site belong to its owner. Photographs submitted by users remain their property at all times.

Applicable law

These conditions are governed by Spanish law. For any dispute, and unless consumer legislation provides otherwise, the parties submit to the courts of the owner’s domicile.
